My name is Christense. I come from Oregon, which is in the Northwest of America. I majored in Psychology at Cascade College, and graduated magna cum laude with a double minor in English and Communications. I have lived in China for three years. My best advice to Chinese students learning English is to speak up! You learn grammar and vocabulary from a book. When you speak it’s time to take what you’ve learned and practice. English is a forgiving language, and even if you make some mistakes you can still be understood. Speak up now, and later you can work out the details of your grammatical mistakes. As you practice speaking more and more, you will find you make less mistakes and build your confidence.
